uploads some photos of the damaged points.
Also there should be a scan of the controller board on this forum somewhere, take a search and look.

thanks for replying ..yes was looking at the pictures of the scan board of the controller  that has been posted on the forum..just not sure where i could power my rb switch from..theres not much point in me uploading pictures of the damage i have done. the 2 hole that the pins go throw are shot and thats why the solder will not stay on the main board..so of course no power to switch dead..just thought i could solder a bit of wire to the pin of the leg that gives power to rb switch and then solder to the right point on the board but just not sure where..anyone..

Thanks for help

theres 4 holes that the pins go thru. you keep saying that 2 pads are destroyed but still are not telling us which 2 are destroyed.
Again, upload a photo so that we know for sure which controller board you have, and that we will provide you with the best help we can.

you are gonna have to do a bypass/trace repair. you are going to have to scratch off the little vias that the purple line connects to. The other 3 holes are connected so you should be able to just jump a wire there.
Lower your heat and use flux when working with the vias. these are smaller and more eaily damage from heat.

Can someone tell me the size of the tact switch? 6x6x4.3 or 6x6x5, maybe I'm off on both? Thanks.
