Does anyone know any PS4 Console solder points for some LEDs. I've seen someone connect the positive to the fan wire and the ground on a screw but he said that the LED's stay on even when the console is off so I was wondering if anyone has found a way to keep them off when the console is off? I want to illuminate the PS4 logo on the front.

Can you get some pics of the PS4 motherboard maybe i can help you. as for the way that people wire them i am sure its phantom power that is keeping the leds on when powered off

I can't because I don't have my PS4 right now but if someone else could that would be great. Long story short my bro sent me his PS4 that was broke and I sent it in on Ebay because it had the BLOD. It couldn't be repaired. The reason these consoles get the Blue light of Death is because Sony used lead free solder which after cooling and heating over and over points lose connection.
According to this there is 5 models but I believe there is only two and the newer ones are the same thing just a bundle like Destiny white PS4 ect. The first gen had a shiny covered hard drive cover and the newer ones have a matte finish on the hard drive cover

BLOD can be fixed / those pics are good. i will see if i can pic up an old one or talk to a friend of mine who repairs them to see if he can get me some voltages off the power supply where it plugs in to and see if we can solder to the bottom of the board where the power comes in to. or if we can find another spot on the board that the power comes on when powered on

Thank you I really appreciate it! I know it can the guy did a reball and spent a while trying to figure out the problem but it probably is not repairable because of one or both of these 2 things. My brother kept it in a sealed area and I heat gunned it. So yeah but when I get another PS4 I'm going to post some mods.
