Title: Need help with diy ps4 scuf mod

Hi I've used the pcb diagrams and found the contact scratch points for my board . But as soon as I scratch the point I'm using x and o the button stops working. Also same happens if I apply solder to the contact what am I doing wrong pls ?

Sounds like you're scratching through the copper trace. Post pics of your work.
