Title: looking for help
Post by: popahly on August 31, 2020, 04:23:30 AM
Hello everyone, I have an old motherboard for the controller, I want to make bridges for damaged places. Just for training. Is there anyone to help me.

There are no easy to solder to spots on the DS4 controllers. You'll need to clean all of that up first with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. Then follow the traces from the damaged areas and solder to what is left of the trace or follow it until it gets to a via and prep and solder it there.

Thank you very much, professor. Excuse my ignorance of this matter. Can you direct me more with just one example. I tried a lot to keep track of the points, but I failed.

If I'm the teacher, then you should be learning. ;) Save the image there and use something like Paint or PhotoShop so you can zoom in and trace them out.

tips
1) dont use rosin flux with leadfree soldering repairs
2) joint from resistor goes directly to MCU but track is bold so u can scratch coating and solder jumper wire to it
3) for l3 button press solder  jumper wire in here :
