I was wondering, since when you change a ps4 analog you never know if it is of good quality or if it is working, so I wanted to know something, if instead of soldering the analog directly on the board I connected the pins by wire (the one I use to make bridges in circuits) would it work or not? obviously it's just to check which component is the most compatible

test with multimeter unit, all of them are compatible.

the DS controllers I've checked have a resistance of 2.4kOhm across the potentiometer, the only faked replacements I've found are 10kOhm and the plastic melts at relatively low temps, can't use them as the analog then overshoots
