Hello. I have a PS4 controller for repair, labeled JDM-011.
The controller, after connecting to USB and pressing the PS button, blinks a little white and that's the end.
When I press the share button and PS it blinks quickly, the computer sees it is raining on bluetooth, it even connects but the pad goes out. USB device is not recognized when connected to PC. How I externally charged the batteries is the same.
Someone will suggest something that might have broken and where to start?
maybe power ic ?

Will it flash orange after you plugged in USB?
Did you change with the right charging platine jds-011?
-
1.No any light after plugged in, just got the usb device not recognized.
2. I have ordered JDS-011 150901 PCB from China. It shouldn't be long.
Jds-011 boards I checked the multimeter, probably everything works.
I charged the batteries in another Dualshock. and I was able to connect to pc via bluetooth and the rest works

So these two legs had no ground connection. I removed this item and it works.
The connection to the computer is correct and loading probably is also. There is an orange light when connected to the charger.
Can it work without this part because I do not have a replacement?
-
Thank you very much for help.
Charging works.
I still have a similar problem with jdm-030 practically the same, any tips?

Good night.
I have a PS4 Joyticks version JDM-011 and it does not work wirelessly.
The connection of the Joystick to USB works correctly, the PC detects it and works.
On the FLEX and JDS011, they are new.
When I connect the Joystick via USB cable it works but when I disconnect it, it automatically turns off.
The fault may be in the PMU or in the CPU.
I'm from Argentina, sorry for my English.

wickated thanks for the hint about the broken D6F/FTZ6.8E Zener-Array on the JDM-030, it helped me fixing a controller.
-
I have same problem as lysy112. I've checked and also removed the ESD guard as wickated said, but now the controller wont turn on. Any ideas?
