Title: Joypad Xbox One model 1697 c33 capacitor

Hi, I'm trying to repair an Xbox One Controller Model 1697 I found the c33 capacitor on the BUTTON / POWER BOARD BOTTOM shorted.  Can anyone tell me the size and capacity of this capacitor?  thank you

That Cap is on the 3.3v rail, so unless you removed it and tested it, that short could be any number of places. If you removed it and it was shorted, and now everything is working again, then you can put anything back in there from 4.7uF to 47uF really.

Yes I removed it and it is shorted, in fact there were two other shorted capacitors but removing the c33 the short is gone.  Tomorrow I will try to see if it works without a capacitor, if any voltage is fine, just that it has a range from 4.7uF to 47uF?

It should be rated for 6.3v or more since it's on the 3.3v rail.

Hi, I found some 10uf smd capacitors with different voltages 6,3 or 16v or 25v which one do you recommend?
