Hi everyone!...I have some troubles with a JDM-011 board. When i connect it by usb cable to my computer, it connects but is not recognized like if i had not the drivers.
I tried replacing the BD9200 chip and nothing happend. Something else is when i connect it and test the volt on the battery plug it isn't charging, there is not the 3,5v o 4v.
Any idea what can be the failure?? :dntknw:

Try remove touchpad flat
-
Or replace ribbon cable usb

I've changed broken BD92001 for other broken BD92001 (without knowing that they were broken) in the past.. didn't help.
There is test points around that chip, what values do you measure against ground from them?

have you ever tried to reball the same chip? And has it ever worked again?
-
BD92001 is not a BGA, no reballing required or even possible, just add the right amount of solder
if an IC is broken its broken, swapped around 4 until I found one that was working, thats why I've ordered new ones, at least I hope they are new (new old stock)

I have the same problem with a JDM-011, every capacitor and resistor near the BD9200 gets a right voltage but there is a diode up to the battery connector that doesn't feed with 3,4v this connector i'll trie to change it...you should check that.
But i think it won't solve the recognized problem...i'm still looking how to solve that

have found a resistor that has a line from the MB9BF002A IC, i think is the processor...well this resistor give a measure in diode mode of 0.017 i think this IC is the principal problem, what a mess! :sadno:
-
Finally i could find the problem, it wasn't the IC, think is a diode that was causin the problem, it makes a resistor change its value. I changed it and it was done, now my pc recognize the control. This is the diode i mean...https://imgur.com/qqtT65M

Arrow is pointing to a Resistor, 27ohm, 0402.
Circled component is a TVS array for the USB data lines.
-
Correct, the TVS was damage and afected that resistor... after i changed it the computer recognized the controller and its working now :victory:

What is the part number for the TVS Array and the diode replacement? Having the same problem but can't find the parts needed. I looked at the TVS and it has 06F written on it. Googling found nothing.
