Title: JDM-055 remote does not recognize the battery.
Post by: tomari on October 06, 2023, 08:34:55 AM
Hello.
I have a JDM-055 that does not recognize the battery, I have changed the battery with a new one and it does not recognize it either, if I connect the remote to the play it works perfectly, even if I remove the battery. What could this be due to? Could the charging IC be bad? Thank you.

Check that R59, R60 and C63 are in place and in spec.

I don't know if they are shorted or not, my problem is that the remote does not recognize the battery, the battery is at 100% and the remote says it is at 0. Sorry for my English, I am translating it with the Google translator.

The inductor that is to the left of the pmic, when I measure it in continuity to ground, the multimeter gives me continuity, that means that there is a short, somewhere on the board, it could be that the pmic is defective and for that reason it does not detect me Battery. Thank you.
