I think that's an old version of iTunes.... :(
-
Plug the iPod in, when iTunes asks you to sync the library click no, switch to disk mode, go into the iPod drive (E. or F.) and make invisible folders visible, enter iPod_configuration then Music and there are folders called F00 F01 F02 ... there is your music, copy it into your library and you are done. Phew and I don't even own a iPod.

Oh, I didn't watch the rest of the video after it went into preferences.....
Yeah that method works, there's also freeware that allows you to do the same thing.
That method leaves some tracks unnamed, especially if you didn't rip the music that's on the iPod from cds.

this method works but when i disconect my ipod i get the little exclimation point next to all of my songs telling me that i need to finde the original coppy or something like that before i can play it. any ideas?
-
you need to actually copy the songs to your Hdd, not just import them into itunes.
-
yea you have to get a way to extract the music to your hdd
There pretty easy to get off the Internet of there isnt one already on the computer and It will let you dl them...cuz some school computers won't
LOL I typed this on my itouch.... I love this thing
-
basically you had added the songs that are on your ipod to your playlists, and so you should instead COPY the songs to your actual computer, not just import them into itunes :hifive:
but this is good to know, a helpful tip if you ask me.

Don't bump old topics!!!!

Or u could just have used Idump, which copies all the songs back to your Harddrive
