ok my stuff from coolmods come today so i got to fitting it took 30mins for the the wii case and 2 mins each for the wiimotes the pink one is my gfs by the way before u ask lol

i cut the metal bit my self cause it didnt look right when it didnt have the hole

now i just got to light it up when i work out how to so if any one no's any places on the wii to hook up leds plz let me no
the cases them selves are made real well had no probs what so ever with the install i would recomend them to any one thay are that good and the end result is sweet as u can see

when i have the chance ill take a pic of my mobo and label you some points,its really easy to attach some leds.
looks nice,wish mine was clear :cry2: but mine also has a shot drive =p

Nice dude..So about soldering points on the wii's motherboard you can look at it's bottom and you will see points labeled with the power they give for ex 3.3V or 1.5V..There is also a ground close to those points but the ground is everywhere anyway :D But I better suggest to drain power from the controller ports cause you don't effect anything if you drain power from there and controllers still work.
EDIT: OMG OMG you also have trauma center!?!?! I love this game!!!!!!!It's so awesome!!! I like that the GUILT virus things are named after greek day names!!Btw I'm stuck in chapter 6 at an operation.

well hope fully i should have some leds in the wii tomrrow i might do red and blue or all green not sure yet will keep ya posted

The bomb part was very annoying..2 misses and BOOM!! I spent a whole night playing trauma center and...the bomb part was half of it!!(well actually 45mins of trying)
Anyway I like your idea of cutting the metal cage of the dvd drive..I was always thinking that it would look bad with it,but it's nice being cut.
Again and again lethal...Great job!!!!!Soon(I hope) I'll complete my wii mods if my brother decides to bring back my wii from his gf....

ok guys little update for ya finaly got round to putting in some leds but i done it with twist watch the vid u will see

took dam ages to get it to work right the oard i used to control the leds was out of a pudshop and was in a set of dice for ya car lol so i got it an changed the leds then had to find a sutable power source on the wii cause the thing was running on batterys but finaly managed to get it working sweet so what u think

yep i am very pacient .u need to be pacient when doing this sort of stuff i think if u ent u would end up giving up all the time lol

Well I could fix my PSP if I had the pacience, time and a reason to.
I don't play it alot any more (more of a nintendo gamer now).
Well Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep is a big inspiration for me to fix it.
Or just "borrow" my friends PSP until I finish it lol.

Got some few question if you don't mind.
1. When ever you open you wii again. could you show or tell me which source you used for the leds? I just dont feel like buying the II-case chamaleon or hot-rock(The UV pulse goes with outside sound right)...
2. Is your wii stand completely clear? If so then you bought it.
3.Is your wii power bottom moded? I think I saw a green power button .

you wire the leds to it then yeah, he can explain more if needed

yep i used the new pulse vu 2 to make it pulse very nice chip and real easy to install didnt take me long about 20 mins i think i recomend any one to get one if they want there wii to pulse to sound

one more question:
did you use that XCM II-case with the LED's pre installed? if not, how do i attach the LEDs to the case?

the case is just a clear case from coolmods the leds i wired up and hot glued into place

Are there LED's to make the other side look sexy too? i know it defeats the purpose, as when you put the wii flat, the other side (the one without the metal sheilding) is on the bottom. It might look like it has neon lights underneath though =P
