« on: August 28, 2007, 08:36:30 PM »
Ok, so I'm trying to downgrade my friends psp and we got all the way to the part where you have to make the magic memory stick. But then it doesn't work here is what we type...
Quote
C:\msinst.exe f f:\msipl.bin
and we get..
Quote
PSP MS IPL Installer
Load IPL code f:\msipl.bin
241664 bytes(59 block) readed

Target DRIVE is 2
Check partation Sector
Cannot open device \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE2
Can't read partation sector
We are using Vista.

It's

Where is your folder sitting?  the Pandora Folder I mean..

If it's in the C drive the command should be

C:\pandora\msinst\msinst.exe F C:\pandora\msinst\msipl.bin

Put the msipl.bin in the root of your C: drive  so you can type it in like this

X=your own PSP memorystick drive

c:\documents and settings\vikrum\desktop\pandora\msinst\msinst.exe X c:\msipl.bin

That's all I did and it worked fine...try it out

That's what I'm using. I'm hurrying to get this done, so I can fix my battery back to normal, I don't have a extra battery.

Ok, it finally worked, but now I can't get my battery back to normal. I don't have my charger for my psp, so I can't plug that in after I run the app to change it. Does anyone have the .bin to change the battery back to a normal one so I can just use the recover nand from nand-dump.bin and name the battery thing to nand-dump.bin? Or is there another way?
