That would be style of humor known as sardonic humor.

Basically they are making fun of masculinity which makes it extra funny because they are quite obviously males (yes i was shocked too)

"self ripping" it is sometimes know as, Americans are renowned internationally for not understanding this style of humor nor sarcasm as they seem to take personal offense to it, or just aren't as adapted to it as it is a style more commonly adapted in British Comedies such as Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, IT Crowd etc.

But these guys obviously get it rofl
