no rumble where rumble is needed

i was tinkering with my ps2 phat and a couple of ps2 controllers i won't go into detail unless needed but now my ps2 phat won't rumble my controllers i have gotten new controllers and every thing to see if it was the controllers but its not
 
i would love it if some one could help me thnks
