Sixaxis PSP mod?
« on: October 24, 2007, 05:53:33 PM »
IF YOU DONT LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS MOD OR DISAGREA THEN DONT BOTHERE POSTING YOUR SUGESTIONS THANKS ;)

Is it possible to do this?
As the sixaxis is like a switch when tilted, and operates what u want to do just by moving your wrist.
Well it will be strange putting it in as when u tilt the psp you will lose track of your sight in progress on the screen and by that you will have to tilt your head in motion with the psp, now that will hurt some necks! I can see why Sony Entertainment didnt do this.

But wouldnt it be fun even if we tried?

If we used the sixaxis in the ps3 controller and put it in the psp which will hook up to  the analogue, or probably the left, right, up, down buttons and possibly the R and L.

(R and L) is used in Loco Roco to tilt the level.. but if we used sixaxis that would have to be in reverse because if u tilt it to the right the whole game will go to right and you'll be upside down.

Turning by tilting it to go right and left in a few car games.
Moving it in all directions to move a character "person" in perhaps "SOCOM" or in other games like that.

This mod is not for defenet or it probably might if it did work ide be pleased and im sure probably most of u gamers would..

P.S you'd probably would look like a complete TARD if u had somthing like this in public streets lol

POST YOUR IDEA'S would help ;)

As far as I know, the sixaxis controllers use gyroscopic sensors.

You'd be better off using something more simple and cheap such as a tilt switch made from a ball bearing or preferably mercury.

It has been done before. I think it would bee cool for a game like mercury though...

Acidmods did it, the retail device needs homebrew to work, the Acidmods version doesnt.

I think is it not dead thread.
I think is this thread only waiting for new infos.

Questions were not answered!
Maybe time isnt yet.....

I only heard about: "He is working on it, He has it..."
But nobody see it really.

I hope we will see pictures in this thread.

I found on YouTube videos:
-Playing on PSP with PS3 joystick (but PSP and PS3 Joy are connected to PC)

I dont really know much about this stuff, but the sony erricson K850i phone has a game in it (remake of marble madness) that you tilt the phone to move the marble, tilt it further the marble moves fast, lightly it moves slow, if you could find the part from somewhere im pretty sure if it fits in a phone it will fit inside the psp, im assuming it would work on a similar principle, IF you got it working somehow, just thought i would mention it.
