Psp broken?

Well while i was replacing my psp LDC screen for a new one the black part of the connector just kinda broke off for the short one the long ones still here. So i was wondering if i justed F'ed myself? It must be cause i removed it several times b4. So is it broken?

no i have done this at least once and i had enough pressure from the pins to keep the contact so if you don't have enough pressure which i would first try you can solder the wire

place the connector into the recepticle then place a small piece of electrical tape to hold it down... this will prevent it from falling out when psp is shaken hard after you lose at loco roco

Nah but its not like if the psp is gunna flip out and say "OMG! You just the black tab inside of me... i will self destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, now! BOOM!"

i agree with the last master it won't blow up the same thing happended to me i just put it in like normal P.S. you might have to push it in with a flat head
