I have an idea for a really useful mod, but i need a datel HDD. If anyone has a broken one or one they are willing to part with, pm me. I'm about 90% sure that I can make it work, and I will release a tutorial once i have it working.

no offence but i cant really see anyone giving a datel hdd away it doesnt help that ur new here and just for ur infromation if an internal hdd was ur idead as edhel mentioned it has already been done

no, its not an internal hdd. and i wasnt asking for someone to GIVE it away. I would pay them. It probably wouldnt be but about $10-$15 though. Thats why I asked for a broken one.

what is the point you can buy one that isn't broken for that much from ebay ??? go on have a look, and dont give us the i haven't got paypal routine because i think anyone would want you to pay that way

I do have a paypal, and I have already looked on ebay. Thats why i asked here.
Heres a link to the search page where there is only ONE Datel HDD, and its $26 and $4 in shipping. If you could find another one that is under $20 id be glad to buy it, but there isnt one.

Well, I believe I can make a simple way to connect a flash drive or external hdd. But I would have to take it apart.
