backlight - not fuse - not clip SOLVED (not fixed)
« on: February 12, 2008, 10:09:28 AM »
as the title says.

i got a psp that is having backlight issues, ive cleaned the clip and made sure the cable is in all the way. i bridged the fuse, and ive tried 3 different lcd's.... all to no avail....

any suggestions?

EDIT:

I'm only getting 5v on either side of the fuse, as well as the contacts for the backlight

EDIT 2:

Ok. found the culprit. the step up converter that takes the 3-5v and ups it to 33-40v is shot. so in order for this board to work, im going to have to find another way to light my lcd... s**tty.....
