For all of you who hacked your region so you could see the GO!MESSENGER icon. Well GO!MESSENGER went live today!!!!!!

For our friends that have 3.90 and no Go!Messenger Icon...

If your running CFW you can region hack your PSP to europe, Download the Go!Messenger app. Then transfer the folder ULES00856  from \PSP\APP to \PSP\GAME then remove the region hack and your good to go. Go!Messenger will appear under the games folder.

I did this and it works fine...

If your running CFW 3.90 M33-2 turn off your PSP (hold teh power button all the way up for a few seconds) then power the PSP back on holding the Right Trigger down. This will bring you into recovery mode (be careful here). Now the second option is Configuration, select that. Then select the 6th option down labeled Fake Region. Then go to back and exit. At this point your PSP will reboot and you should see the GO!MESSENGER icon (Unless you installed a Theme) under the Web Browser.

NOTE: The Acidmods theme will not show the Icon even if you perform the region hack.

All there seems to be a problem with some installs of GO!MESSENGER. I have 3 slims and two of three will not log into the service. Every time I try it would say that the username was invalid. Now I created these accounts yesterday and I am able to log into the BT Soft phone (download it from the BT.COM site. I'll post a link when I have a sec) so I know that the account is active.

So I took the memstick out of the PSP that would not let me log in and I put it in the PSP that would and on the first try I was able to log in. So I took that NOWWORKING memstick out and put it back into the PSP that was not working and now I get an error that says there was not response from the login server.

SO ATM I'm verifying the files on flash0 to see if there is something missing. You guys want to help msn me, if you have my contact info that is. other wise update this POST!!!!

Can't Login Problem: Same problem here:
1. Received both emails
2. Using softphone login working
3. First time registration on the PSP fails: Account verification failed. Your username and password where not valid....

But the strange thing is:
- I've got 2 PSP slims, one PSP slim is working with a different account, when I put in the memory stick of the one not working in the first one, I can login and the account information is saved on the memory stick. But when I put the memory stick back in the other one, it tell's me there is already a profile and if I continue it will be deleted. But the login fails again.....

One PSP slim is from the USA (PSP-2001) this one is working, the other one where if have the problems with is a PSP slim from Singapore (PSP-2006)

Both PSP are running CFW 3.90-M2, region set to Europe and both accounts are created with a European country.

So now I wonder, could it has something the do with the serial?? What is your serialnumber??

ok here is what i did and it worked

ok to get it to work
exit from it
then switch your wifi off
then on
then off
then start it with the wifi off
then turn it on
then log in
thats what i did and then mine worked

it took me forever to register the site wouldn't load up. got it to work. hey i moved the folder to game but it wouldnt load up.

lol no irs started stuffing up for me i registered and got it working and now when i try to log in it says somthing like go messenger is not yet working

OK so I need one of you to test this. AND BEFORE YOU SAY I"M CRAZY IT WORKED FOR ME!

So I have 3 slims and 2 phats. When I first posted this topic I was having a problem with one of my Slims and the ability to successfully connect to the GO!MESSENGER service with a valid account (Read above if needed). Well I have read all of these stupid posts where people are telling you to turn off your WiFi switch and turn it back on bla bla bla.

Well last night I decided to try and reset my Wireless Access Point (Like that would have anything to do with this). Well no joke, I was standing right next to the Access Point and I had started GO!MESSENGER and it was prompting me to select my wireless setting to connect to. Before I clicked the correct one I unplugged my access points Power plug. Then I plugged it back in and let it restart. As soon as it was fully loaded I went back to the PSP and selected my WiFi profile and it prompted me for the Username and Password prompt. I filled out all the info and no joke it worked. I was like OMG no way. So I messaged someone that I was working with and told him about my discovery. I asked him to try it and let me know his outcome, I haven't heard from him. So today I tried on my non working Phat. I did the same thing and WAMO BABY it worked. Someone else please try and let me/us know the outcome.

i cant log in. i can on my pc account is active. i get the eror my sn and pw are invalid but i know i enterd them right waited over night to process and still nothing

is there a way to like take the e boot and flash files put them on say cfw 3.8 and run it because when i upgraded my music is un recognized
