« on: March 19, 2008, 07:58:10 PM »
hey guys i made a backup of my gh3 disk and its a good thing i did it because the origional disk broke. i know that the ps2 wont load burned games. so if i go to the browser on the ps2, insert an official ps2 game, use a disk swap tool to open the disk drive, then replace the disk with my backup, would it work? also im using a phat ps2 not slim

Alright, try not to double post, as mods/admins get a bit testy about that. I think that it can work if you use a certain chip of a type, but of course it ain't condoned here if it's considered illegal, and it is. There a few chips that can allow the use of burned CDs to play on your PS2 with the swap disk method. Of course I can't point out where you get them, so good luck with that (just google it), and try to be careful in mentioning anything illegal or close to illegal, back up or not. ;)
