if you bridge the backlight fuse...
« on: March 29, 2008, 09:29:00 AM »
what affect does it have on your screen? Sony thought it was important enough to put it there, so what do you 'lose' from bridging it? Can bridging it cause permanent damage or anything like that?

EDIT: DEAR GOD IM AN IDIOT! THERE IS ALREADY THE SAME QUESTION ON THE BOARD! can a moderator get rid of this or something... :boxed:

  good job me

its just there to blow instead of you backlight if there is a surge. Bridging it just means next time there is a surge it will blow ur backlight, but may as well get the best life posible from your backlight and bridge it.
