Simple question regarding PSP screens...
« on: May 12, 2008, 09:39:39 AM »
I'm your latest forum member! Give me a hug!  :#1: :#1: :#1:

Now that most people have stopped reading this thread : I managed to get a PSP on the cheap last night.  It works, but it has a broken screen. No big, they only cost about £18.  My question is, if you would be so kind to take a look at the photo, is it the screen that is damaged? Or is there a protective layer of plastic (perhaps connected to the case) on top of the screen?

That's the only photo I have of it.  I'll keep you guys posted when it gets here :)

TIA

Jamie

that looks like just a scratch on the faceplate (plastic cover) but if you bought it with a broken screen you will know when you try to turn it on.

yeah, if when you turn it on and all you get is a mess of colours then it's screwed, but if you can see what your doing then it's the faceplate that needs replacing not the screen.

Got to say I think it is the case.   In the photo above, the crack goes further than the screen does on this photo:

Keeping my finger crossed it's just the case  :hifive:
