need help

first sorry for my english. i was trying to do the trigger led sound mod. after i done and check everything and turn on my psp, green light flash once and it shuts off by itself then it wont turn on again, i double check everything everything looks fine. so im not sure could it be the flux i've left between the 5v and ground points on the motherboard, this is my first time doing soldering. should i clean the flux after i have the wire soldering? the flux im using is non-spill rosin soldering flux. anyone pls help me!
