I'm sure most of us are familiar with this clunky thing, and I'm sure we're also fairly familiar with Electro's wizardry and installment of this thing internally.
However, 4gb seems a tad small for the loss of UMD and all that fiddling about inside your beloved PSP.
Which is why I want to take it one step further and either place a full blown laptop hard drive in (I'll make it fit!), or an ipod hard drive or something bigger than 4gb.
Yet I can't do this without first knowing how Datel hooked their hard drive up to their circuit board. I'm relying on those of you who have purchased and dissected these to answer this, and provide closeups of the HD pin layout since I have yet to actually purchase one of these. And while I am aware electro has done a very nice job of showing us how to wire it up to the psp, he didn't give very specific shots of the hard drive itself, so please don't ask me to rely on those photo's
Hopefully it'll be something standardized, like portable mp3 hard drives or (if we're real lucky) a compacted IDE format.
