Check all the connections inside the PSP, have you taken it apart? Please give more information about the problem so we have more to work off

yes, i remember my bro and I blew the backlight and resoldered it but left a small amount of solder sticking up and when we put it all together, it wouldn't turn on and we were taking the LCD cage off and tried powering but nothing, next thing you know my bro unscrews a screw just enough to get the LCD cage off the solder left on the fuse and it WORKED!!!

Make sure that the big LCD ribbon cable is in properly, its will cause the PSP to turn on for a millisecond

actually that isnt true. i have turned on my psp multiple times with the lcd sitting 5 feet away from me. did it while working on a mod and was too lazy to put lcd back in.

Check everything for exposed wires that could be causing it to short circuit.
