1200 euro budget PC

well a little while back i told you guys i was going to buy a new pc

i got some money now, and i'm going to buy it at the end of july /beginning of august



well my budget is 1200 euro, and that is without screen and disc drive

Mobo:
the Asus P5e (ddr2) or the Asus P5e3 (ddr3)

i will be using the GEIL 4x1 gig ram for the ddr2
or a ddr3 (only found 1 gigs :S and they were EXPENSIVE)


as for the video card i was hoping to get a cheaper 9800gtx (once the nvidia 280's are out the 9800's will be cheaper)

i was hoping to get a Nzxt Apollo black, but they got sold out. then i went for the silver one,.. but that one is gone now too

anyway the color sheme i want to use is Black case with green neon in it. i already got some green fans with leds

if i were you i would look at a 8800 gts or a 8800 gtx. the 9800's are good cards and they are comparable to the 8800's but there bus speeds are slower than the 8800's.

as for a case take a look at lian li they have some amazing cases.

Matt just shut it. And DD, the 280s have been out for like 2 weeks now, and I haven't seen any noticeable price drops in the 9800s, either of them. Like tec said, go for the 8800 for your budget. Black and green neon sounds like it's gonna be pretty sick looking, I'd love to see this. Wait, what processor are you getting? I'd go for the C2Q Q6600, it overclocks great on the P5e boards I heard.
