a few questions about xbox

hello everyone,heres my questions
1.can i change the annoying startup on my xbox and if so is there an acid mods one?
2.the controller ports are usb ports does this mean i can put a usb mem extender
(like a go book to use with my linux so i dont use up hard drive mem for linux
3.can i change hard drives with only one xbox and no ide compatable computer

ok ehh well i think u can change the start up somehow by hacking it, like the psp
im about 100% sure you cant do that, unless u rewired the port to the hard drive or sumthing
