Author Topic: i'm having curious purchase trouble, wonder what you think solved thx :3 (Read 1879 times)

so i got my paycheck today, finally wanted to get that new keyboard online.

i deposit, and my final balance is roughly 305$, 304$ available to me.

i place an order on amazon like i always have... it would'nt process, somthing about my card (i've used my debit card before no problem)
i try to edit the info, and they cancel it

i try the same keyboard on buy.com, also where i have purchased from, and got the same problem, this time i cancelled it

next, i tried buy.com again, BUT, via paypal...the problem is, all my buy.com purchases show up in my account BUT this one, i cant find a single record of it online anywhere (though i saved the digital receipt)
usually they show within 5 minutes of placing, and its been 45 minutes..im starting to get both worried and frustrated...

any ideas what happened, how to fix, etc.?

um, no

its all legitimate, i've used them before

as an update, my paypal was rejected as well, so i tried the card again, if that dosnt work, i'll cancel that order as well and contact my bank and/or have someone order it for me and pay them back...

this is really really annoying me... now i wont be able to sleep because i have to obsess over this crap

EDIT: got another email, t'was rejected on my card again... it told me to verify allll my info, and i noticed how meticulous it was.. i think it wont let me because i entered the wrong phone number, my cell instead of home... that could be whats royally f**king it up?

You need to enter the details associated with your card. If your home # is that, then you need your home #.

i found out my limit is $100 because i'm under 18...now i'm never gonna get it T_T

btw, 100 dollar keyboard O_O sounds alil exspensive to me

i think i got it ordered..not via the card which has a limit, but via a direct wire transfer from my checking account..i got an email thanking me for the order, so i guess that means it went through..i can only hope D:

as for the keyboard....its actually more than 100..i intend to review it as well and sell my current one..i keep making too many grammatical errors because of its setup...
but this new one is supposed to be the bee's knees' of keyboards, like really good with a lot of features.. not intented for one purpose like gaming or ergonomics, but like a generally kickarse one..

EDIT: i scoured ebay to find one less than 100 so i could pay for it, i was fortunate enough to find a seller in NY (whilst i am in MA) that had a buy it now for 80, shipping for 12, with 100% feedback

92 total, descritption was that it was slightly used and still mint (used only w/ htpc) which is really good enough for me, mint, almost new
