Need minor help!!!!

I am needing some help with the left trigger on my ds.
for some reason i was playing and one day it just stops working
so i was really confused so i done what any idiot would do and i tried just pushing the button a few times to see if it would work again.
lets say i pushed it 45 times it would only work 3 times out of 45 then just stop working period.

iI tried getting a cue tip and putting water on it and drying it up with a cotton swab and blowing in it and it still don't work. the button still fills the same as right trigger  clicks and all. i dont have any clue what to do any ideas?

send it to nintendo... unless your good at soldering ^_^ then buy a new trigger and swap em out ^_^ good luck

all i did was jsut took it apart and cleaned it there was alot of dust under the trigger but thanks anyway
