I'd take the 62/36/2 over the 60/40. It's a lot nicer to work with.
you might need the desoldering braid but its not really needed i just use tweezers melt the solder with my iron and pop the led off
OK. One more question to see if anyone has the answer to. Why not use the 1204 right angle smds if they are the correct ones?
If you're talking about the controller then you're wrong. The controller uses 0603 smd leds. The 360 uses right angle 1204 though. You don't HAVE to use them. You can use different SMD leds. Most people use 0603 for led swaps.
