Pic Programmer PCB Design.
« on: September 09, 2008, 02:31:08 PM »
Thanks to gamerom for posting the Pic programmer schematic. I decided to design a single layer PCB layout that can be used for making your own printed board. People requested information on making their own PCB, I posted a link to a great source for instructions on making a working PCB from copper sheeting.

Specs: Width: 3.2253" x Height: 1.700"

Here is the full layout.

Here is the traces which you print out to etch your board.

And here is the components as well as the drill holes. This can be put on your board to give you a component guide.

thanks, let me know how it turns out. Keep me posted on the progress if you do decide to use it. Im hoping to use it when my finances allow for personal hobbies haha. I guess no one else was interested in it besides you. It took quite a bit of trial and error fitting everything on there with out overlapping so as to be a simple one sided pcb opposed to a complex two layer board.
