PsP screen showing gradient greeen??

Ok, So I have a psp slim star wars ed. and the screen was cracked. I bought a replacement screen and installed it, but I am getting this gradient green color across the screen? The sound works and everything seems to still be functioning. What could this be cuased from. I have taken it out and reinstalled it about 8 times making sure everything is snug in its spot but I get this screen every time?

so bad screen then? I wish I had a screen I knew was good to test it against, or another slim I had cracked open but this is the only slim I have and the only slim screen I have. Might buy another one and see what it does. Idk just thought maybe someone might have run into this problem hope'n it wasn't anyhting to big.

the screen you bought has a problem :P
it's a common problem for the screen, the chip on it is bad you need a new screen (again)

did u get it off eb? and if so off CNN? LOL

do this buy a new psp and return it  rip out the screen watch the sticker and put the broken one
