help a noob out....

im new to psp hardware modding. i saw that alot of people have put leds in their psps and i want to do it 2.  the only thing is that i want the leds to go on when the hold switch is on but i cant seem to find any good tutorials on it.

if anyone cud help i would rellly appreciate it

Ok.

The Hold Switch Part mush be cut and then the last leg on the switch is ground.



You will need 2 SMD Leds usually 603
Can be found on Ebay

Also needed-
15-20 Watt Soldering Iron
30 AWG Kynar Wire
Rosin Core Solder
Rosoin Flux

Most found at Radioshack.

And yes Proper i agreee but i feel like being nice today lol

would a 30W soldering iron be too high? That's all I have now and I think it should be ok as long as you don't hold it on too long. I thought I'd ask the ones who have done it bfore.

I use a 30 too.


The only thing is the higher the wattage the faster it can ruin stuff. So if you think you are good at soldering its fine.
