« on: October 01, 2008, 11:33:52 PM »
I turned on my psp after installing leds and a chotto cam now the psp turns on and the sony logo appears and boots up to the moving background, but after that it just stays at the background and the icons don't appear. i've tried pandoras battery-ing it but it didn't work.  please help.

actually there is a simple explination for this. Ok open the umd drive and look from a little white lever near the left-center. If its pushed down, it tells the psp that a umd is in there. When there is no umd, the psp still tries to load it anyway and therefore gets confused and won't boot the xmb. Just reach in the ims drive and pull up that lever.

glad to help.  you can do it intentionally by holding the switch downwhen you start the psp.
