sketching

we just changed semesters at our school and im trying art class
i was just wondering when you guys sketch, do u look at pictures to get inspiration or do you just think of the drawing off the top of your head?
we are aloud to use photoshop so i might just stick with that instead of sketching but i want to hear wut u guys do

meh, i use inspration, and then get bored half way through the sketch, then improvise the rest
