Razor X Tining

the french tut said to tin the razor x pcb leads. anybody know if this needs to be done? if this was the case, why wouldn't it come manufactured that way?

Doesn't need to be done, But the whole point of it is to raise the contact points of the razor board making it more responsive.

Well iono i didn't have to on my razor, If i tinned it it wouldn't ground correctly..

Ive done my own razors, and i never tined the tops, but those are copper, it might be different.  i always dremel to the copper from underneath, it saves me about 30 bucks instead of buying a razor X. In the french guys thing, i read that too, does he just use the washer method or what?
