Rock Band Drum set wired to a Real Drum Set

Hey guys i have friend that asked me to take his rock band drums and hook up to his real drum set. So far it kinda works except the sensors dnt pick up every single beat on the real drums so i did some research and asked places about the real electric drum triggers for electric drum sets and they say it picks up well. So what you guys think these triggers may work a lot better then the ones on the rock band. Give me your ideas or opinions on this.

I am a drummer in a band and have been for the past 4 years; the only thing I could say about that is it is absolutely pointless. its a waste of a real drum kit. really all you have to do if your friend really wants to ruin a drumset is hook up triggers (piezo elements) to the drums so that when he hits the drum it triggers a certain sound, or in this case a button. i'm not that electronically advanced but if you used the site below, you could probably get what you need done with just a few spliced wires.

Hmm thanks for replying. Well the rock band trigger works but for symbols and that they jiggle so much when u hit them dnt work all the time. But idk im gonna think bout it.
