Question about the 360 controller rol
« on: January 15, 2009, 11:41:24 PM »
Hi i have been modding 360 controllers for a good while but i have never swapped the rol leds to red ( i only did to blue) i was wondering since the mobo runs off of 3 volts and the leds forward voltage is around 2.2-2.4 volts, would i have to add resistors? it will be pretty bulky with the resitores inside. if i do need to add resistors can some 1 show me how they added theres?

The original green LEDs are the same spec as red LEDs. You do not need to add the resistors if you are doing a direct swap.
