Fading LED's
« on: January 25, 2009, 09:05:02 PM »
Hey I'm thinking this will make me look really stupid cause it seems like a basic thing but I have this circuit.

I was wondering how could I make it just have one LED that fades on and off? I'm going to remove the buzzer too, all I want is some fading LED's in parallel.

the best thing for you to do is build that circuit(without the buzzer) and try it.  Try just removing Led1 and R3 and see if you get your desired effect.

Here a similar idea that one of our members posted:

the black part with the three pins is a 2n3904 and the size of the capacitor affects the speed of the fading. see post #6 for a couple more details.
