I just bought a psp motherboard and is a TA-081 and my old one was TA-086 and sound doesn't work, but when I plug in my headphones the sound works, but the sound comes from the psp speakers not when my headphones are plunged in and when i unplug the headphones the sound stops working

you need to have the parts right. sound isnt off when unplugged, it thinks its coming out of headphones. and when plugged in it thinks it coming from psp. compatible is the word im thinking of. if you had the right mobo the sound should be right.

To make this more clear, the motherboard and the wifi/memstick board have to have matching numbers.

If you bouaght a TA-81 motherboard, you also need a TA-81 wifi/memstick board.
