The output is less than 3v for the power/charge leds and you need 0603 leds.

so if i had two 0603 leds would that board keep them the same brightness or would i need a resistor?

Well it depends how much forward voltage is needed per led. Some higher voltage ones will be dim but lower voltage ones will be fine. Either way you wont need a resistor.

so just two 0603 0603 leds will be fine and quite bright?

eh, not necessarily. Blue, white, and i think a  few others will be sorta dim. Green, orange, and red will be fairly bright.

Hey there m8

i would recommend you do a transistor mod and pull power from something other than the SMD transistors on the psp unit. i use a PNP TO92 transistor driven direct from the power light smd transistor with a 10ohm resistor from collector to Batt pos.
