Need Help Sending My Xbox Back...:/

Right basically my 360 got RROD, and I went on xbox.com, and started a repair, everything was right, then they sent me an email saying what I am suppose to do, but it is very confusing :S. I also got another email with my UPS mailing sticker, that I got to print off or something. But in the first email it says UPS bring a sticker thing with them and put it on the package, but it also says in the first email something about a pre paid box.. :S Very confusing..

If I ring Microsoft, will they organise it all for me, Because my mate said he rang them and they organised everything, he didn't need to print anything off. Will they do this to me..?

And i'm sure plenty off you have sent your xbox's back, how did you do it..?

microsoft has two ways of doing this
you call them or go online and they ask a series of questions and tell you it needs repair. then they ask:
method#1
MS sends you a box with all the foam packaging, a pice of tape and a return sticker. you put your xbox in and drop it off or call ups for pick up. (this is what I do, the down side is you must first wait on a box then send it off, adds like a week to repair time before it even leaves the house)
method #2
they will email you a return mailing lable, you put it in your box, put the lable on it, drop it off or call for pick up. (the down side is you dont have the protecting foam and packaging, you must buy your own box. the good is it saves about a week of extra shipping.

let me know if I can jhelp anymore.

when sending make sure NOT to send anything but the xbox, no harddrive, no memory card, controller, custom face plate. nothing send it bare, chances are you wont get the same xbox back, even if you do, they are not responcable for these items and the are discarded during disasembly.

Method #1: they send you a coffin, and pay for the funeral on their time
Method #2: They pay for the funeral, you provide the coffin on your time

Ok, I gave up with getting them to send me a box, so I just printed of the label, stuck my 360 in a box, stuck the label on it, gave UPS a ring, they picked it up in 3 hours..  :w00t:

Can't wait til i get it back.. :D
