wifi not working after usb charge mod

ok so it works, but it doens tpick up signal liek at all when i sit right next to my router it says 20% signal, and wont connect. it sounds like to me maybe i jacked up the antenna or something? was wondering if there was a way to boost the range since im gonna have to open it up again. anyways, oh yeah i jsut upgraded to 5.00 m33-6 i was at 5.00 m33. so maybe that has something to do with it anyways, any advice would be greatly appreciated. damn ir shell.
