How to make your own PSP Coldboot?
« on: August 01, 2009, 04:56:32 PM »
I have done work and not just come here and ask for answers as a first resort. I've looked around but only found OLD tuts. I do know how to install them but I need to know how to make some. I already know some details, like it can only be under 3 secs long etc..

Thanks!

Coldboots can be as long as you want without having to edit any firmware files. Even gameboot can be longer than 3 seconds. This is done by changing the time value in the Opening_plugin.rco file.

This video shows you how to change that so you can have longer gameboots (there are also links for software and files on the youtube page).

As for making your own coldboot/gameboots, You'll need Sony's umd video kit, However owning it is illegal and providing links are not allowed.
