Used them for the blue and green LED's but not for the color changing LED's
There are 2 in the umd door they are 3mm RGB color fading LED's
they change color on their own there is not enough power to do them on the transistors

so they fade on thier own? i understand that rgb leds have 4 pins (ground, r+, b+, g+) but i always thought you needed to connect to a fader board via a switching transistors (more colours, more trans). im probably wrong anyway could you post a wire up of how your leds change colour?

oh and i forgot before.. sweet mod man

thats multi color LED's for like power lights,
these are just 2 pins they fade on their own without suppling power to different pins,  they all fade in the same order just at fractions off a speed difference so finding 2 that match can be important or not.  the speakers can only supply a max of 3.5 volts with a transistor I believe and these LED's are good with at least 4-5v, otherwise only red and green will work, mainly red
hey are hard to find

I believe used them on positive points for each sections of the leds. Almost like when people use the hold switch to turn on there its simply like that.
