[] button stiffnes

heay guys.. my first time i opened my psp today.. a spring popped out of the psp. its like a cm tall and 1 mm in diameter... i excluded it from my project.. and assembled the psp  back.. and my [] button became verry stiff.. than other buttons.. what am i doing wrong? please tell me. -_-

Open and recheck and mess with it till you figure it out. Some isnt properly placed right.

ok thanks ... what about the spring then?... i found it on floor while opening psp.. so i assumed it was from psp as i dont have any other electronic devices there.

the umd door is were the springs from.
did it look like a L shape.

the button probs because either ur power board or ur directional pad are not in place right.
depends on what button is stiffening up

It's stiff because the rubber padding isn't on correctly. I had the same problem, just take out the buttons, put them back in and make sure the padding is in correctly.

the button got fixed... but the tape on edge the screen got burned or something i can see a semicircle of the removed tape... it happend because the button was improperly placed .. thankks all for your help

and about the spring.. everything works perfectly...i dont see any malfunctions without it.

The spring might have been just been from a pencil or pen or something.

-_-... now my x- button is acting crazy... i have to press it hard to work.. i opend my psp 3 times and tried to fix it .. it didnt work

make sure the rubber pads are in the right side make sure the buttons aren't dirty on the edges if they are clean them up with a wet rag or napkin if their clean and everything looks fine test out the psp before you put it back togeher oh yeah make sure the rubber pads are clean and make sure the ribbion cable for the buttons is placed in all the way double check everything if you still have problems let us know
