7 color LED to rumble motor mod
« on: October 03, 2009, 02:12:24 AM »
I am attaching an LED to my controller so it will light up when my motor vibrates. the problem is, when i pull the trigger the LED lights up but doesnt change color as its supposed too.all three lights come on, there just isnt enough power going to it. Where would I be able to connect my power to have this work properly?

ya i think its becuase of the pentometer's resistance on the trigger... so i decided to have the LED just run all the time. im just trying to find a point of power that i dont have to install anything to the board and am having no success

The rumble motors supply 2v and the other points that people commonly use are 3v. The 3v source doesn't only send power when the controller rumbles though.
