Just another modding idea

I just had another idea, I wanted to make something like a Red LED to turn on when my 360 GPU reaches 50 degrees C. Any idea's how to do this? I have a temp sensor but I want some sort of alarm when it reaches 50.

any help much appreciated

quite simply you could do this with a thermistor and an op amp comparitor.  However you should look into more of an active setup that uses a pic where you could shut the alarm off and keep the led lit or have the pic activate another fan when temp is reached.

There are all sorts of simple temperature alarm circuits on the webz, just depends on your skill level and what kind of work your willing to put into it.

we are doing a thing lke this at school with light sensor but the concepts the same do you have crocodile tech ? if so ill email you the diagram

Thanks for the help guys bud That diagram would be helpfull. I used to use that prog in my school 2. And I will have a look on the interwebz for some circuits.

nope its still there, I get a warning from my norton 360 when I go there as it states that megaupload is unsafe, but thats the same thing it says about acidmods LOL

sorry guys it was in pics and programers, not sure why that area is not visable, I will have to check with robin. I moved it to electronics projects as that is more fitting anyway. can everyone see it now??
