my usb charge problem..

i did the usb charge mod a couple of months ago...

what i want to know is why is it that my psp shutdown when i tried opening up and then go on the charge mod...

i tried also removing the battery while i was charging on the usb..

i can't turn my psp on then charge it on the same time..

help will be much appreciated..

maybe there is a short or something kababayan.. try checking the contacts to the usb.. maybe some solder contacted the other pins..

i don't know if there is short on my wire kabayan...

but if there is my mod would no work in any way right? i guess..

some observations that i made an hour ago...

first it's way too long too charge...

then i tried opening it up while charging it automatically shutdown..

and then there was a time that i opened it the green led is on but there is no display...

it's just black screen and nothing happens..and kinda hangs...

so i took my battery out...

pretty weird huh...hope to get help sooner from you guys...

The reason that the psp phat takes a really long time to charge through USB is because the charge coming from the USB cable is less than the charge coming from an AC wall charger.
The later editions of the psp can charge fine through USB, but the phat is really inefficient at it.

but i modify my usb cable and connect  it to my charger itself hus giving a 5v output but still

its too long to charge it..
