ROL Relocation. With Video now......

Anyone ever relocated the 4 player selection leds? I just finished relocating mine to the gray plate where your mic plugs in. I took the Green 0603 Leds that make the ROL out and just wired in 4-3mm LEDs (2 Green and 2 Blue) across the grey plate. Nothing special but I found it pretty neat. Anyone else ever done this?

im sure someone has, but ive never done it or really even heard about it much.

and yeah i'd also like to see a pic of it.... or a vid of it showing you starting up the pad and syncing it.....


i have however... done a second play indiction (sort of) the color changeing d-pad in my chamileon (mod off entry) i ran a 2nd set of 0603's in parallel to the original ROL to change the color of the dpad withthe rol.

I wounder what re wiring, the leds so they are all different colours and light up a different quadrant of the guide button would look like? Has anyone tried that?

I have relocated each LED to the next spot on a controller to mess with my brother once but other than that nothing else. I like the idea of having some leds in the ABXY though that follow them at start up though.

well sorta i know that f00 did similar mod to a controller but the rol was still used. https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,5497.0.html

Here is a vid of it I uploaded. Like I said its nothing outrageous but its something I decided to do cause I was bored LoL. The controller is not back together yet cause I am still planning other stuff but for now thats it. I will let you all know when its all completed. Thanks for all the responses.

Doing it now. Well, relocating.

looks good i like they layout of  1. 3. -----  4. 2. it gives a cool effect when its syncing....

Thanks for the compliments!! Greatly appreciated. I have a few more Ideas that youll be seeing soon. I will keep you all posted. Also what is a wigwag????

PS I have put 4 separate leds in the guide button. Not the ROL though.
